Anonymous asked: Hi! I converted from Protestantism to Catholicism two years ago, and it's a long story but if you're interested in hearing it just shoot me a message and I'd love to talk with you! It was the hardest/easiest thing I've ever done, and I have great respect for protestant christianity because it led me to God in the first place. It was hard to leave my church family behind, but once God asked me to become Catholic, there was no turning back.

If I do convert, I have considered asking for a chance to present my reasoning to the congregation. I would love the chance to talk about the truth I’ve found, to clear up misconceptions (prayer to Saints, veneration of Mary, etc), and to make sure they know I love them and value them very much! But that’s a long time in the future, I think. But I think I owe them at least that much.
